SBI SO Recruitment- Grade

The various Grades that fall under the SBI SO Recruitment are as follows:

SBI SO Eligibility

The IBPS SO eligibility criteria have three important aspects.

They are:

  1. SBI SO Age Limit
  2. Educational Qualification

1. Age Limit:

Candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility with regard to the Age limit to appear for SBI Specialist Officer examination.

NOTE :- There are some relaxation of the upper age limit for different categories.

2. Educational Qualifications & Experience

The educational criteria and experience vary depending on the position applied. The basic criteria for the different positions are given below:

a) For Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS I) :

  • Engineering Graduate in Computer Science/IT/ECE or MCA/ M.Sc.(IT)/ M.Sc. (Computer Science) from recognized University/ Institute.
  • Applicant should have Experience in the related sector.

  • Applicant should have Minimum 5 years of post basic qualification experience in related sector.

Selection Process:

=> The selection of candidates for posts JMGS I, MMGS II and some of MMGS III will be on the basis of Online Written Test and Interview.

Online written Test Pattern :

=> The selection of candidates from some posts of MMGS III and SMGS-IV will be based on Short listing and Interview.

Shortlisting: The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview.

Interview: Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by Bank.

The SBI SO program will cover a variety of topics such as reasoning skills, quantitative aptitude, English, general computer and professional knowledge.
